I've had this game on my wishlist for a long time and was kinda looking forward to it, but I'm not sure what to think about the combat – it looks very twitchy and chaotic and I much prefer it to be slower and more deliberate, with soulslike metroidvanias being my favourite. Dunno, I'll probably check it out once it goes on sale

So what if it's a hollow knight like? I thought we were all, collectively, thirsty for more hollow knight were we not? I played that shit six different times, modded it to play like six different times AFTER that first six doing everything all twelve times. Hollow knight is consumed. It was great, phenomenal even, but it's over. Also silksong isn't out yet. If this game tastes of hollow knight, it shall FEED ME!

Thing I feel like you missed, with the dashes feeling unresponsive, was that holding the trigger extended the dash…
Said something like that early on when getting to the explosive blobs, where you zoomed by naturally.
But will see how it actually feels when playing myself…
